A: At the time of writing, we mostly work on light commercial and residential HVAC equipment.
A: The base rate for diagnostic most equipment is $130 + HST. This includes the truck dispatch to your property and up to 1 hour of diagnostic time. In certain cases (like with intermittent issues), more diagnostic time may be necessary to pinpoint issue. We always ask for permission to perform work before proceeding.
A: In most cases, no. In limited cases, maybe. We try to be as transparent as possible in our pricing. Diagnostic/truck roll does cost us money and ultimately has to be built into the final price.
A: We work on most makes of forced warm air furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and more.
A: All work will be quoted as estimates and subject to customer approval prior to completion. Unlike at your dentist, there will be no surprise charges that you did not approve.

A: Their diagnostic is usually a "diagnostic". If you run the numbers, you will find that a larger contractor would be losing A LOT of money if they came to your home for only $100 without strings attached.
A: In most cases, yes. This is because most units only have PARTS warranty from the manufacturer. This means that the manufacturer does NOT reimburse us for labour to perform the actual repair.
